01 — Who runs the site

In-Evasion is a personal project, published on a non-professional basis by Mateus Lopes, a private individual. It is neither a company nor a commercial service.

By creating an account or joining a game, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

These terms may change. Significant changes are announced on the site before they apply.

02 — A free service

The site is free: creating, running and playing cost nothing, and no payment method is ever asked for.

The credits used in games are an in-game currency with no real value: they cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for money.

The Pricing page shows plans considered for later. None is sold today. If paid plans ever launch, they will come with their own terms of sale, announced in advance, and nothing will be charged without your explicit agreement.

03 — Your account

You sign in with Discord or Google: no password is created or stored here. You are responsible for the account you sign in with and for what is done from it.

You must be at least 15 years old to create an account. Below that age, a parent or guardian must agree.

To delete your account and your data, write to contact@in-evasion.com from the email address linked to your account: it is done within 30 days.

04 — The service

The site lets a creator build a branching tree of enigmas, publish it, open it to players and run it live with game masters.

Three roles exist and carry different responsibilities:

• Creator: owns the game, its content and its settings.
• Game master: runs a live game with the permissions the creator granted.
• Player: joins a game, alone or in a team, and solves it.

05 — Content you publish

You keep all your rights on what you upload: texts, images, sounds, files, board items and messages.

You allow the site to host, display and deliver that content to the people in your games, for as long as it stays online. This permission only serves to run the service.

You confirm that you have the right to publish that content, including media embedded from other services.

You can rate and review a game you played, once it is over. Your review is public, must stay honest and civil, and the publisher may take down a review that is abusive, defamatory or off topic.

06 — Acceptable use

The following are forbidden on the site:

• Illegal, hateful, harassing or violent content, or sexual content involving minors.
• Impersonating someone, or collecting other people’s data without their consent.
• Attacks on the service: brute-forcing codes, scraping, overloading, bypassing access controls.

A creator or game master can remove a player from their game. The publisher can remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules.

07 — Availability

The site is maintained in its publisher’s spare time, with no availability guarantee. It may be interrupted for maintenance, changed, or shut down.

Before a permanent shutdown, notice is given on the site whenever possible, so creators have time to finish their games.

08 — Liability

The site is provided free of charge and as is.

Everyone answers for what they publish: the publisher is not responsible for the content of games, the way they are run, or the messages players exchange. Reported content that is clearly illegal is removed promptly.

Nothing here limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

09 — Stopping

You can stop using the site at any time and ask for your account to be deleted.

The publisher can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after a warning when the situation allows.

10 — Governing law

These terms are governed by French law.

In case of disagreement, write to contact@in-evasion.com first to look for an amicable solution. Failing that, French courts have jurisdiction.
